The D&AD Annual returns to showcase the best design and advertising work of 2007. 59 Yellow Pencils and 2 Black Pencils have been awarded from over 25,000 pieces of work.
The annual is huge, with far too much content to do it justice in a single article so we have outlined a few of the entries we feel stand out in our image gallery. We have kept the collection predominantly to print based work and will add some of the entries from the motion categories at a later date.

The D&AD annual 2007, design by Fabrica.
Designed by Fabrica, the flag takes precedence in the D&AD annual 2007, the bold yellow textured fabric with new embossed D&AD kite-mark covers the flawlessly bound book.
THE FLAG PROJECT
Fabrica chose to reflect D&AD’s growing global membership by introducing The Flag Project. The D&AD flag was sent to 500 creative people all over the world, the idea being to break down the barriers of nationalities by encouraging creatives to use the flag in unique and original ways.
“You can burn it, stab it, wrap it, fold it, tear it, use it as a cape…”Renzo di Renzo [Fabrica]

The result is a collection of images about creativity and about personal and cultural differences rather than sameness. You can view the complete collection on the D&AD Flag Gallery
